Hi, I’m Kimberley, the photographer behind Kimberley Rose Photography.
I’m a newborn and family photographer based in the Macedon Ranges, specialising in calm, baby led sessions that feel gentle, unhurried and stress free. With over 10 years experience photographing families, I understand how important it is to create an environment where you feel supported, relaxed and cared for.
Newborn photography is about more than beautiful images, it’s about trust. My sessions are designed to move at your baby’s pace, allowing time for feeds, settling and cuddles as needed. You don’t need to worry about posing or knowing what to do, I’ll gently guide you throughout the session so everything feels easy and natural.
I photograph sessions in my purpose built Romsey studio or as studio styled sessions in your own home, offering flexibility for what feels right for your family.
As a mum myself, I know how quickly these early days pass. My goal is to create timeless images that reflect your baby and your family just as you are, so you can look back on this season with warmth and love.
A calm and caring approach
Every session is photographed with your baby’s comfort and safety as the priority. I work gently, follow your baby’s cues, and allow plenty of time so nothing ever feels rushed. My approach is simple, calm and respectful, ensuring a relaxed experience for both parents and babies.
I hold a current Working With Children Check and regularly update my training and practices around newborn safety.
