Milestone baby photography in the Macedon Ranges
Baby milestone sessions are all about celebrating personality, curiosity and those beautiful in-between stages as your baby grows.
These sessions are relaxed, playful and baby led, photographed in the comfort of your own home. I travel to you and bring everything needed to create a studio styled baby session, allowing your baby to feel settled in a familiar environment while I take care of the rest.
What to expect
Baby sessions are ideal for babies aged 6–12 months, including sitting, crawling and early standing stages.
Sessions are gentle, unhurried and designed around your baby’s natural rhythm. There’s no pressure for your baby to perform or sit perfectly. I follow their lead and capture natural expressions, interaction and connection.
All you need to provide is a small clear space for me to set up near natural light. I’ll bring simple styling pieces and guide you throughout the session so everything feels easy and relaxed.

I bring a carefully curated selection of simple outfits, textures and styling pieces to every baby session. Styling is kept neutral, soft and timeless so the focus stays on your baby’s personality, expressions and those beautiful milestone moments.
Baby sessions are designed around sitting, tummy time, movement and interaction, so outfits are chosen for comfort and ease while still photographing beautifully. I’ll guide you through styling on the day and take care of everything, so there’s nothing you need to prepare unless you’d like to include something personal.
If you have a favourite outfit, sentimental item or special piece you’d love included, you’re very welcome to bring it along. Otherwise, you can relax knowing styling is fully taken care of for a calm, effortless in-home session.

Planning for your baby session
Scheduling
Baby sessions are best photographed once your baby is confidently sitting and engaging, typically between 6–10 months. These sessions are relaxed and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for play, movement and breaks as needed.
I recommend booking your session a few months in advance to secure availability. Sessions are scheduled on weekdays and are kept calm and unhurried so we can follow your baby’s lead and capture natural expressions and personality.
Payment
A $150 deposit is required to secure your baby session. This deposit comes off your chosen digital collection.
Payment for your chosen digital collection is due at the time of your session.
Once you’ve viewed your gallery, you’ll have the option to upgrade your collection if you’d like additional images. Any upgrades are purchased after gallery viewing and before final image delivery.

What to prepare
Because I bring everything needed to create a studio-styled baby session in your home, there’s very little for you to organise.
All I need is:
A small clear space near natural light or a neutral wall (please let me know if this isn’t available and I’ll bring a backdrop)
A comfortably warm room
Access to power for my equipment
I’ll take care of the rest, including styling guidance and session flow, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Preparing for your baby session
Before your session
Baby sessions are best photographed when your baby is happy, alert and comfortable, usually mid-morning or early afternoon. Your exact start time will be confirmed via email prior to your session.
Before I arrive, there’s nothing special you need to do to prepare your home. I’ll bring everything required for your session and create a simple, studio-style setup in your space.
All I need is a small clear area, such as a lounge room or bedroom, and access to power.
I recommend feeding your baby shortly before the session so they’re settled and content when we begin.
During your session
Once I arrive, I’ll take care of setting up while you relax. Sessions are baby-led, playful and unhurried, allowing plenty of time for cuddles, smiles and little breaks as needed.
Baby sessions focus on natural expressions, sitting, tummy time and interaction. If siblings or family images are included, I’ll usually photograph these first, then spend the remainder of the session focusing on your baby.
You don’t need to entertain or pose your baby. I’ll gently guide the session and create a calm, stress-free experience.
After your session
Within approximately one week, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery to view your images. At this stage, you’ll select your images based on the collection you’ve chosen.
You’ll also have the option to upgrade your collection or add additional images once you’ve viewed your gallery.
Your selected images are then professionally hand-edited, with final images delivered via digital download. Your gallery will also include access to professional print products should you wish to order prints or wall art.
